    Good price on lead?

I'm picking up 15 pounds of lead at .45 cents a pound.

    Is that a good deal?

    Clean-pure lead @ 45 cents/pounds is a good deal if no shipping involved !

Pick up a couple hundred pounds though to make the trip worthwhile!

I'm told it's pure lead. My hunting partner that lives about 20 miles away is picking it up for me, and says he can get the guy he is buying it from to set aside future lead for me.

What BHN is 92/6/2 alloy? I need to keep the hardness of my air rifle boolits down to around BHN6-8 or so.
