    Use data for 4895 which is faster burning and work up to the load you want.

    I'd start around 30 gr and work up from there.

    I use 4895 data. With that, I get some really good loads.

    do you just stay in between the th min/max or can you go over a few grains? how many grains do you guys use? i'd rather just try one of your guys loads than keep fooling around

    I use the next heaviest minimum, or start load data for each weight I do. I also paper patch them so I can push them spritely.
    I definately understand your not wanting to fool around here. I like results also.
    I just minimum start load data. If the neck is black, I drop some more in, if it is clean after firing, I stay there.

    4064 either IMR or AA should be a good powder for the .303. It is one of my favorites for .308 and .35 Remington. Jonk's suggestion of 30 grains as a starting load should certainly be safe although each gun is a universe unto itself. If you have a chronograph then that will also tell you when to add more powder and when to stop. I think that you should be able to drive that boolit at or near the 2000 fps assuming a solid rifle.

    I have a IMR 2007 reloading pamphlet with 150 and 180 grain loads. They are as follows. These are Max loads for Jacketed rounds. A 10% reduction for the 180 load may give you a safe Max for your 200 grain cast. 30 sounds like a good place to start.

    150 = 44.7
    180 = 41.1
