No 200-230gr 45 HP and 6 cavity RNFP (or TC) on this list? Definitely plain based and single groove.

    38 HP for me
    Μολὼν λάβε

Lord, make me fast and accurate. Let my aim be true and my hand faster than those who would seek to destroy me. Grant me victory over my foes and those that wish to harm to me and mine. Let not my last thought be “If only I had my gun”; and Lord if today is truly the day that You call me home, let me die in a pile of brass.

I am out of town, enjoy your holidays.

    Missing bullet?

Hey, what happened to the MiHec .45 ACP RN-HP (.452, 200gr) ? We had a big thread and lots of people wanted one. I put my name on his list but have not heard anything since the debate on round HP hole or 5 point HP hole. Did it just get left off the survey?

Americans as a whole do not understand Europe very well. I didn't either until I visited last year. Much of the industries go on holiday in August and everything shuts down, oh not quite everything but almost everything. Even though Miha wants to work he cant because no one is at the metal supply, and the company that makes the cherry cutters are on holiday.

Now believe me I am an American, and as such I am just as impatient as the next American. I enjoyed Memorial day, 4th of July and will enjoy labor day in a few weeks. But I might like having a month off in the summer.

Thanks Miha for all of you effort.

    Shawn

    Only1asterisk,
Is this group buy still ongoing or did I miss out. I liked the 179gr HP design and would seriously consider opting in for that one if it came in a 4-cavity.

    Thanks,
    Alex

The 434640 (HP) is of interest to me right now.

A couple of weeks ago I purchased an inexpensive Lee two cavity 240 grain Round Nose Plain Base mold that I was curious to try out.
Before that all I had for reloading .44 was the MiHec Group Buy mold in 44/444 300 grain HP/GC.

I wanted to try something lighter and rounder.

The Lee mold was listed at .430" but, it was dropping bullets at a little less than .429 regardless of my alloy.

I loaded up a few and tried them out any way. In my Super BlackHawk all these bullets went right to where I was aiming. Unfortunately they leaded the **** out of my barrel. I hate cleaning lead out of my barrels!

I loaded up a few more with alloys of softer BHN and still got way to much leading but, these bullets were still giving me good accuracy. Another plus was that they feed as smooth as butter through my Puma M92.
I don't quite understand it. I believe they were just to small for my bore.

Although it's not a true Round Nose, this 434640 (HP/GC) looks like it may be as close as I'll come to a slightly oversized 240 grain round nose gas checked bullet.

THIS BULLETIN JUST IN! I stand Corrected. I just came across another one of MiHec's future bullet mold projects that is already on his waiting list. It's a 200 grain round nose hollow point with a Gas Check option. (218 solid) Oh Happy Days!!

Count me in for a vote on the 434640 (HP) This is just a vote mind you; not an bullet mold order.

I posted on the respective threads for these two GBs,
but just to make sure, I want to be in on the:

44 Special MiHec .432 / 179gr SWCHP (210gr as solid) Brass Cramer style Double Cav.
    and the
454423 MiHec .455 / 224gr SWCHP (240gr as solid) Brass Cramer style Double Cav.

An extra set of the 5-sided pins as are being discussed on the HG #503 HP
Group Buy thread would be VERY DESIRABLE also.

    Thanks

.38 Lightweight SWCHP: I was searching the "Group Buys" for a similar mould when I found this thread. I couldn't figure out how to vote (no I'm not from Florida, never lived there for more than a month or two).
