This list is for a RERUN of the MIHEC 477-640 HP mold that I have run in the past for the 475 Linebaugh and 480 Ruger. I've received lots of requests for this mold again over the last year and with the announcement for the new 480 Ruger Bisley from Ruger, I felt it would be a great time for some to have the opportunity to get one if they wanted. Miha said he has blocks ready for this one which means it could be a very fast turnaround. The buy will close at 25 molds as requested by Miha.
This will be a two cavity mold that is a plain base bullet that drops approximately 410 grains as a solid and 385 as a HP and drop as .478" in diameter, different diameters are possible if you specify. This will be supplied with a large HP set of pins and the "blank" pins that fit flush with the mold. The drawing below shows two different HP but I'm only requesting that Miha supply the larger of the two as that is the one that I've been told most are using for thier current molds that we had run originally. It has crimp grooves located at .365 for the FA guns and .420 for the custom long cylindered guns. I'm thinking that the price will be about $120 shipped based off of previous buys but it should be in that ballpark. This is a pic of the mold from 1st run and the large HP and blank pin types in mold.
Here are a few pics of this bullet recovered from a hog this past Winter. Load was 1100 fps from a 475 Linebaugh. All of the recovered slugs we have at this point look exactly the same. .95" expanded diameter roughly and basically 100% weight retention. Accuracy has been exceptional!
