    311299 upsized for 8mm?

First of all, I don't know much (OK, anything) about bullet design.
I have the NOE copies of the old Lyman 311299 and 314299 bullets for my 30 cal rifles, and it's hard to make them shoot poorly. I love that bullet.
What about growing the dimensions to .324" or .326" for our 8mm Mauser milsurps?
    Will it work?
    Who else wants one?

If it would work, I got one that needs .326

They also make the 326331, which looks similar. I bought one of the mold, and cast a few, but have not shot any yet. I plan on shooting them in a combination gun, the lower barrel of which is 8x57JRS. See here:

IMHO the 331 will shoot better than the 378 due to the longer bore diameter nose. I used to shoot a 378 and it used to give me fits. Lacks a bit of support up front and some days it was great and others just awful.
