    Bismuth for swaging?

Over on Levergunners they are talking about making bullets out of Bismuth/tin alloy. Just wondering if it is feasable for doing that, if ever needed, when I swage the 40 S&W cases for 44 bullets. Course, at $7.00/lb, it could get expensive.

    rockrat,

A member who doe snot frequent th boards here anymore, but is active on the Antique reloading tool collectors message board, Floodgate, did this testing.

I have not had a chance to converse with him on the bismuth swaging, I did converse a bit about bullet traps to collect the bismuth during and after swaged.
