I'm definitely interested. Who will make the mold? Will the HP pin be double ended to case either HP or solid?

    Thanks,

I'm hoping this will be a MiHec 2 or possibly 4 cavity Cramer style mold with reversible pins.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. It will be perfect for 44 special.

Has anybody talked with Miha about it? 45 2.1 states that @ 1400 fps all that would be left is the base band. Right on! Now I am really excited!

I gotten those results out to 50 yds at 850 fps with a 259 gr. 45 caliber HP boolit also. Once the hollow point cavity is a certain configuration, it works with about everything i've tried.

I can't find that one, is it still open?? Can anybody please give me a link or a search word that would show the RNFP/RNHP thread??

I'm a maybe on this one. I'm thinking of selling my Lee 44 cal button nose wad cutter mold and get something in the same weight class that will cycle through my Rossi lever action rifle.

If this ends up being a Mihec 2C brass mould, then yeah, I'm in.

I like the looks of the hp. Shold kick butt in .44 mag over unique or red dot. If the finished price is in the $100 or less range I'm in. My first gb so let me know what I need to do.

What would the advantage be to have a brass mold over either of the other 2 types of molds? Anyone please.

That was my designed bullet, the 444 Marlin Screamer that he is referring too.

There wasn't enough interest so it kind of died for a GB situation. I have gone ahead and sent the drawing off to a mold maker for myself and 3 of my friends and should have the molds in my hands in about another 6 weeks. The bullet of course could be used in a 44 mag also but this was a GC version to withstand the higher speed of the 444. The beauty of a GC version is if you shoot it slow enough like 850-1000fps you can use the GC shank as another lube groove and omit the GC for general plinking/target work and when you want to push it you can add the GC.
