    Thanks, no_1,

That is what I use to blow the boolits I cast on their trajectory for now.
It is a Lahti-Saloranta m/26 LMG barrel in a M-N M91 action. Muzzle is threaded for supressor. I made the stock out of birch laminate last fall. Actually in the middle of Finnish white tail season, so the rush can be seen in finish...
I still see nightmares of inletting that trigger guard/magazine assembly...
There´s alot of things I´d make different if I´d be making another now.

This is the group I shot with it on Sunday with Lyman 314299. Distance was about 100 yds.
Load was 9.3 grs of VV N310. Those 2 fliers are keyholed.

    Jukka,

Pretty nice and not too bad a group. Why you think you got two keyholed bullet holes?

Hey post a picture of that T38 Arasaka 243.

I like your target, same as mine..paper with a marker pen circle. Good to see someone on the other side of the world make targets like mine.

    Joe,

You can´t see it on the picture, but those 2 boolits didn´t hit the target straght.

    Jukka,

Maybe you need to speed your load up some more, spin the bullet faster. I'm sure that you have to bullet sized correctly for the groove diameter.

    [QUOTE=Pystis]Thanks, no_1,

"Muzzle is threaded for supressor. "

You shoot cast with the supressor? Does it affect accuracy? Does lead clog it and how hard is it to clean?

    Thanks,

I use to shoot some hi-pressure j- bullet loads througt it once in a while, say every 5th time I go to my range. It gets extremely hot while shooting those loads. It is very hard to see the target even after 5 shots, when fired rapidly. You can literally burn your skin on it. You should see the muzzleflash when blasting surplus ammo w/o suppressor in a dusk, then you´ll know why it get´s that hot... "Great Balls of Fire"
Lube residue seems to vaporize and I guess lead will also be blown out . There will be some powder residue anyway.
And it doesn´t affect the accuracy, actually it may even shoot better with suppressor.
I have´t shot any cast loads without silencer yet.
I was a lil concerned about those gaschecks getting loose while in suppressor and damaging it but haven´t noticed anything like that yet.
