    Lyman-Williams peep sight question

I have a mauser with a Williams version of the Lyman SME peep sight mounted on it. I would like to replace it with an all steel Lyman and am wondering if the Lyman's mounting holes are the same distance apart as on my Williams sight. There is nothing wrong with the Williams, but the steel Lyman would look better on my rifle.
