    New Toy

Just got this today. Fireing pin needs to be replaced. At $90.00 OTD I could not refuse. I am looking at suggestions as to where to get a replscement. I will be trying Numrich first.
Also, how hard is it to replace?

I just tried a couple of primer only rounds and it goes bang. Maybe pin is ok.

    Thanks in advance for help.

The S&W Safety Hammerless parts will probably found at Numerich.

Yeah, depending on design, it is. I once worked on a mauser that had a broken firing pin, but the tip would still hit the primer even though the firing pin had broken into two pieces. I don't think that is the case here. If it is still popping the primers, it should still shoot. I'd take a 32 S&W and give it a go.

I am not familiar with the S&W lockwork. If I take off the sideplate, would the firing pin be visablein the Saftey Hammerless?

Very good score for the price. I would have grabbed it in a minute. Congrats.
