    IMR 4064 with a #311041 cast bullet?

    Does anyone have a starter load for using IMR 4064 with a gas checked bullet? I wanted IMR 3031 but couldn't get it. I don't have that powder in my Lyman Cast Manual.

    The 4064 will work great with that boolit. I dont remember my charges, but I do remember I used STARTING j word data and reduced it by 10%, worked up from there till accuracy was what I wanted. The FPS was in the 1650ish range I believe.

    30-30 was what I was working with. I guess I just assumed he was using a 30-30 also with that particular boolit. I should have asked also.
