    Paper Hulls and Slugs/Buckshot

Anyone using paper hulls for slug or buck loads? I went to the skeet range and there about 200 pcs of paper hull Federal Gold Medal hulls. They all appear to be once fired. By the time I get back down there tomorrow they may be gone!
You can miss fast & you can miss a lot, but only hits count.

I don't use them for either, but I do have an ample supply for target/hunting loads where I don't need to pick up my hulls.. or for "lost brass" matches that I shoot sometimes. No reason why I couldn't load buck into the same loads I shoot skeet/trap. 1 1/8 oz = 9 pellets of 00. It'd be nice and soft too.

Yup! And they work well with my ancient hand roll crimper especially if I "iron" out the mouths a little first. Regards, Woody
