Your call. Looking closely, I'd say its a dead heat so far. See that strand of wire on the Fluid Film at 1:00P ... it is completely rusted through. On the Eezox, none of the strands are completely rusted through

And let me tell you ... since March, we have had one bruiser of weather here at the shore. I'm guessing but only maybe 3-4 days when the sun shined and the rest were rain and fog.

I bought some corrosive 308 ammo for 10 cents/shot delivered from Shotgun News.

I did a controlled experiment to see how corrosive it as on steel.

It prevented corrosion.

The corrosion on the outside of the cartridge cases was a red herring for the seller and had little to do with what was in the primers.

Nope, Ricky ... they promoted me out of that department when I found out about this :
Machinist's Workshop Mag (tm)recently published some information on various penetrating oils that I found very interesting. Some of you might appreciate this. the magazine reports they tested penetrants for break out torque on rusted nuts.
They are below, as forwarded by an ex-student and professional machinist.
They arranged a subjective test of all the popular penetrants with the control being the torque required to remove the nut from a "scientifically rusted" environment.
*Penetrating oil ..... Average load*
None ...................... 516 pounds
WD-40 ..................... 238 pounds
PB Blaster ................ 214 pounds
Liquid Wrench ............. 127 pounds
Kano Kroil ................ 106 pounds
ATF-Acetone mix..............53 pounds
The ATF-Acetone mix was a "home brew" mix of 50 - 50 automatic transmission fluid and acetone. Note the "home brew" was better than any commercial product in this one particular test.
Our local machinist group mixed up a batch and we all now use it with equally good results.
Note also that "Liquid Wrench" is about as good as "Kroil" for about 20% of the price.

I use the 50:50 to remove surface rust on tools which are in the basement also 100 feet from the 'salty' Atlantic Ocean

To keep the mill, lathe, table saw, and jointer from rusting, I put old sheets over them.

When the weather warms fast at 100% humidity, big castings can get condensation if there is too much circulation. The sheet prevents the circulation.
