I found the Wolf Primers to be a snug fit. They all worked well. 100% fire.
They are an hard fit though.
    I kinda like that.

I use them all the time, they always go bang. Don't find them any harder than the others, are slighty tighter but not a problem with my Lee hand primer.

I have quit buying any other brand. They work great and cost less. I even use Wolf L/Pistol in 7.5X55 and 7.62 Nato cast boolit loads as they seem to produce tighter groups.

Consensus from some of the shooting forums seems to be (from softest to hardest)

Federal, Wolf, Remington, Winchester, CCI. I only shoot Federal in my 686 because I have such a light DA trigger pull. I can't ignite the old Winchester, but the new Winchester are supposed to be redesigned for a softer cup. Can't comment on them. CCI's are a no-go for me.

Shouldn't make any difference in an auto, though.

For me they seat way easier than CCI, and they slide down the Lee primer trough better than Winchester. So they are my favorite.

I assumed Wolf was trash until I needed some primers fast and that was all the local shop had on hand. Have never had a single problem and have been using them ever since. That was a year ago.

Better bang for your bucks than anything else. I little snug in some cases but not a problem with Lee Hand Primer.

    Cheap and they go bang!
