    i new k31 for me...

i picked up a nice k31 recently. no i did not NEED another, bu tit is a great looking rifle. it is 100% matching, blond stock. not much of an issued rifle...stock is very nice, no buttstock beating. early 50's date.

oh and the owner thru in a box of ammo...his loads........in new unfired NORMA cases.....a box of 50!....

    K31

    Mike,

I just bought my first one last weekend. A 1952 sample with plenty of brass and a set of RCBS dies including the neck sizer die.

Everything I`ve read about these was confirmed when I got it home and got a close look.

    I`m very pleased.

well here is the story. talked all weekend to the guy. he uses 4350..one of my fav powders for these guns, he uses a 180 pointed bullet, and seated properly.( i shoot 135 thru 175) its new norma brass. i got to see a bunch of his reloaded ammo in various calibers....its one of those times that i trust the loader and are gonna shoot some and see how they do. only if not accurate /too hot..will i pull them. ( it looks to be about a 2600fps load)

his work looks good, his notes are good........it aint a pistol load with room for a double charge.

almost done cleaning the mine of copper/nickle out of it....it still had some grease in the bbl...think he never shot this one( he has several)
