This is me in 86 Northern Italy cold weather training
Cool pic. What branch of the service? I would have loved to go to Italy! For our(USMC) cold weather training we got sent to middle of nowhere in Iceland. Never got to see any of the cities there etc. Just dropped in the middle of BFE iceland, froze for two weeks in snow caves etc. training and then picked back up. The only fun part was that our Lt. got frostbite on his hands and couldn't move them so for the last part of the time we were up there his radio operator had to unbutton him every time he had to go. You can bet we gave his radio operator many years of holy heck for that

P.S. I am growing my hair for the first time since a $20 bet in 1988 rendered me a buzz head. I figure I will grow a pony tail and surprise all my former co-workers at the next old fart BBQ .....
