    Parts for Old Rifles

Just wanted to say how nice and easy it was to do business with Wisner's. I was looking for an ejector for a Remington 788 in 3030. Not only was it in stock, they MACHINE the new ejector. The factory original is powdered metal and quite brittle. If you need parts, don't sleep on these folks.

Thanks for the tip, sir! They have the main spring for my Colt New Service!
Rights, and Privileges, are not synonymous. We have the Right to Bear Arms. As soon as the Government mandates firearm registration, and permiting, then that Right becomes a Privilege, and may be taken away at our Master's discretion.

Thanks for the tip. I'll add them to the short list of places I search for parts from.
Currently looking for a Lyman/Ideal 311419 Mold - PM if you have one you'd like to get rid of!

All good things to say about Homestead gun parts. Would not hesitate to go thru them again.

I will add a 'Thank you" for posting. However a part I want, they do not have -- but their site suggested "Jack First"? I Googled this -- https://jackfirstinc.com/ -- and they, indeed have the part I desire. Again, thanks!

want to buy ads on this site + others - never a problem with Jack First - but Sarco + Numrich are my last resort because of poor quality, bad customer service, + really misleading advertising - only experience i've had with Wisners was at least 3 years ago with their Remington magazines + was not 100% satisfied -

I've bought all the bits and pieces I needed to get my 1884 Stevens Favorite running again. Dad bubbaed it when he was 13, after buying it, broken, for a dollar. I have some skill at machining, and lots of equipment to do the machining, but it was much easier to buy from them. And probably a lot cheaper, too. Action had shot itself loose over the past 50+ years, as the screw heads were brazed, and it got shot quite a bit. Five of my 8 brothers and sisters, and I, learned to shoot a rifle with this one.

Forgot to mention that I bought those parts from Wisner's, got what I needed for reasonable prices, shipping was fast and inexpensive, and the only part that wasn't a drop in was the ejector/extractor, which needs to be fitted properly. I think I can do that, and if I mess it up, it won't kill me to buy a replacement. Called them with questions, got good answers, and I have had them bookmarked for years because they are great!
