    $.05 Primers: Servicios Aventuras

I've been watching these for awhile. Made in Argentina. I think the first batches that showed up in the US had QC problems which were resolved. All the latest I read about them is pretty good.

Complaints have been that some striker fired guns would not ignite them. I ordered 7000 from Republic Ammo for $47.50/1000. Got them today after ordering Thur night. Fedex delivery and packed well.

I loaded up 15 9mms just to try them. They seat similar to the last Ginex I'm finishing. Maybe a bit easier. Lee Pro1000 press. I even seated one in a military case I cut the crimp out of and it was fine. My Ginex have been particularly hard to seat in these and sometimes end up squashed flat. The SA seated easy and kept its' rounded edges.

Fired them out of my CZ SP01 with lighter spring kit, PSA Dagger striker fired, and FM AR9 with 3.5lb trigger spring kit.

All fired just fine. Primer indentations are similar to Ginex. Top is SA, bott Ginex.

I think these are going to work just fine for me. I was worried about the striker fired pistol as well as the AR since the trigger spring kit had a warning about igniting harder primers. I'll keep updating this thread as I use more of these.

I bought 1K of those last year. Mine had 41 out of 50 that worked fine. I pulled the rest and found no anvils in them. I looked at the rest of the primers and found missing anvils in lots of them. Good luck.

I'll be checking them all as I go. First tray of 100 is 100%. I know they had QC problems that I heard were resolved. Hoping that actually has been resolved. I will post positive or negative either way.

You need to seat them deep, but I only shoot revolvers and those Rugers will fire just about anything. Only three that would not fire, some did take a second time, but that was because of not seating enough.

That's 34 years of reloading, but the SA's are within the last 12 months.

Are any suppliers providing free ship/hazmat on 5K orders?

Astra Sports has 5k for $235 with $20 hazmat and no extra shipping. Best shipped price I've seen since Norma ran out. I got my 5k from Astra without hiccup.

I have used over 5000 of these primers with no problems with any of them.

They worked well enough for me that I ordered 22K of them from NormaUSA with their Free Shipping deal.

    Thanks for the report.

I ordered 5000 of them quite a while ago. Most of my hammer fired guns will set them off reliably with a few no-go's here and there, however my striker fired guns are about 50/50. I now only load them for my AR-9 which has been 100% reliable through three thou or so. Since it sounds like the latest lots have been corrected I will probably order more.

Thanks for the report. I loaded and shot ~20 today thru my striker fired PSA Dagger. All fired 100% with good indentions. I think for my guns I am GTG.

I loaded 300 of these over the last couple of days. I fired 100 and all went pop. They are softer than Ginex. I finished cutting military crimps out of a bunch of brass and the Adventuras primers seated much easier in them than Ginex. They did squash fairly flat in the tightest pockets though--mostly IK brass

I made my way through 5000 that were bought last year and started on some Ginex. Out of the 5000 I had 6 that didn't fire even after 3 striker hits. Had 15 that went bang on the second time through. I did 1000 with the RCBS hand prime and another thousand with the bench prime. The rest were on the Dillon. Equal failure to fires from each seating method. All were loaded in the same lot of Speer commercial brass. Both 9mm pistols are relatively new. Glock 17 gen5 and Sig P320 AXG. I bought another 5000 Adventuras.
