    I bought this old 1895 in 8X50 years ago, she's pretty worn but still shoots pretty good.

    I've never actually tried any load development with it. I started with the CCI LRP, 16 grains of 2400, and the Lee .330 205 grain mold. That combo gives around 1400 fps with some fairly high SD number (25sh) but it's not to bad for not much effort.

    Took my son out and let him give it a try, target was at 50 yards.
