My granddaughter Lily sometimes has racing thoughts that keep her awake at night. A few nights ago, she could not sleep, so I went to see what she needed. She was just anxious and agitated so I asked if I could read to her. When I asked which book she said, "The Bible."
I got out a Bible and read from Matthew 5, and after that a psalm. In a few minutes she was asleep, and stayed that way until morning.

Our Father's word will relieve anxiety, frustration and tension better than any toxic concoction man can come up with. It also puts her young impressionable mind in the exact spot it should be.
You are an awesome grandpa and what you teach her will not depart from her mind no matter where she goes.
As for scripture helping you sleep....the book of Numbers does it for me...a dozen begats and I'm snoring like a Stihl.

And check how much sugar, soda and caffeine may be in her diet. Also physical exercise?
