    What do you call it????

    So I'm trying to find this metal locker door hardware.
    Have no idea what's it's called.
    with all the smart guys, and gals, here, someone must know.

    On the old metal lockers, one door is held close be two metal rods.
    One goes up to lock, and one goes down to lock
    They poke into holes at the top and bottom of the locker.
    The outside door handle turns, and it turns a leaver, that pulls the rod down to open, and up to lock.
    What the heck do they call that kind of door lock?????

    2 or 3 Point Dead Bolt Lock is what I call them. Sometimes I see them listed as Multi-point.

    or sliding bolt door locks

    On French doors and the like;

    Head and Foot bolts. Not saying this is the term you're looking for but may help in your search.

    I didn't know these things were so expensive.
    Think I'll try making it myself.
    It's for my storage shed.
    Bending down to pull up the lower latch is getting harder and harder these days.
    Either I'm getting taller, or the ground is getting lower.
