    I posted the pictures without a description. I have a 1992 Ruger #1 in 416 Rem Mag. the rifle is in good condition with a small ding in the wood on right side. I have only shot 350 grain boolits from it. $1350.00. I have 170 pieces of brass I will sell to buyer. Actual shipping cost to your FFL. Prefer USPS money order. PM for more pictures.

    It does not have a brake. I shoot 350 grain lead bullets about 1300fps. It's a ***** cat like that.

    iirc they were 24" barrels on the Tropical rifles, the 1A had the lighter 22" barrel.

    the 416 Rem here seems to have the heavy "D" weight barrel like my Rigby.
    I run a 350 at 1600.and it's a more pleasant gun to shoot than the 45-70 1A .

    When I put a cleaning rod down the muzzle to the breach block the measurement is 24". It is comfortable to shoot with the 350s and you will save money because you don't need a spotting scope.
