    New to me looking for information double barrel 12ga

    Hey guy's I picked up a few more tools yesterday and 1 is a Ditta Davide Pedersoli bardone

    American Eagle Arms Co. New York

    12ga SXS

    You have to do a fair amount of digging, but there is charts & listings for what all those stampings mean.
    And, the listings will tell what dates various ones were used.

    PN = powder negro or black powder. 18.2mm = bore size, 12ga. You got the date code. Other stamp with the shield is the proof house.

    I see allot of shot gun barrels and alot of them say SXS. What does that mean?

    I kinda like shooting BP shotguns.
    I use my 11 ga. .75” caliber Flintlock Blunderbuss/ Muskatoon for hunting.
    Two years ago I was able to get 7 quail on opening day with it shooting birdshot.
    I love playing with that gun shooting buckshot.
