    Baltimore Bridge

Pray for those affected by the bridge collapse. Lord, bring peace to those who lost loved ones in this awful accident.

    augercreek,

My prayers have gone out. I was stunned to see how quickly the bridge fell. With all the ship traffic, why were there NO Pilings to divert any ship from hitting the bridge supports? With such a narrow passage, why were container ships allowed to pass through in the night? I read where the passage was less than 200 feet wide! That indicates to me that daylight passage with tugs helping to steer was minimum need.

    Be well.

Prayers sent for those who lost loved ones and the crews that are dealing with this mess.

Four big dolphins would have saved it and lives. A beautiful bridge. I remember when it was built and always enjoyed driving over it. Just went over it 2 weeks ago. So very sad.

    Amen..

Yes I am beyond shocked how quick it went down. Living along the Ohio river I don't understand or know why they would be alone out there during the night with out an escort with passage being so small. I haven't heard how long it had been since the ship called mayday... You would think as soon as it called mayday tugs and support boats should have headed to it.

    God Bless all involved..
