Does anyone have experience with a Williams Target Glove front sight. I want a 17A but cant seem to find one so this seems like the next best thing. Do the inserts interchange with Lyman ones?

For Lyman, look on ebay and check Brownells if you haven't yet.

I believe so. But I am going from memory.
I would call Freelands or Lee Shaver. They should be able to tell you. Ditto for Champions Choice.

17A Insert Dimensions: The outer diameter of the inserts is .474" (12.05mm)where it fits into the body of the sight. The two alignment tabs are on the centerline of the insert, and measure approximately 1/16" top to bottom.

For the lyman sight i believe midways, buffalo arms,Montanna vintage arms, brownells all carry them. I also like the MVAs fronts with the level.
