I bought an 1884 45-70 trap door on another forum advertised as "missing a small part or two". The seller wasn't very receptive after I received it and realized how much was missing. I have been looking around the various parts sources and found most everything, but the cost will out weight the rifle's value if I have to get them a piece or two at a time from from 10 different sellers once you figure in shipping... Hoping someone here has some in their parts bins. I would buy a cigar box full of misc trapdoor parts and try to sort it out myself...
What I need:
hammer screw
2 butt plate screws
1 lock screw and 2 lock screw washers
ejector, ejector spring and ejector plunger
Breech hinge pin
2 barrel band retainers
nose cap screw
rear sight screws
Lots of trade goods if you would rather do it that way.
