    Nice exercise

Floyd and Pepper wanted to go for a walk the other day so I obliged. Doc told me that I should walk every day.

Seventy degrees and light winds- we couldn’t have asked for better weather.
We crossed the little footbridge at the “Snake Farm” (with apologies to Ray Wylie Hubbard), and found a nice antler shed where deer have been crossing the fence.
    Floyd went swimming anyway.
I took the Wrangler Birdshead along but luckily didn’t see any squirrels because I didn’t feel like cleaning any…..
I told them to stay close when we crossed the horse pen, but Pepper strayed off and soon came flying by with brother’s mule in hot pursuit! Floyd stayed by my legs in an uncommon moment of smartness….
Our round trip took in just over a mile and was a pleasant endeavor.

My exercise is starting too. Spring time yard work, stacking 9 cords of wood, and prepping the 35x35 garden.
Starting slow and working my way up.

All the therapy- rehab folks tell ya to walk a lot.
The way we're designed, we aren't built or intended to sit around all the time.

I took my Fofana for a walk today, I swear she peed over 100 times or at least tried to.

My dog has watered tree's from Fargo ND tWo New Orleans La. I am certain he has marked every tree on our block at least 50 times.
I truly believe we need to get back to basics.

    Get right with the Lord.
    Get back to the land.
Get back to thinking like our forefathers thought.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you
and give you His peace. Let all of the earth – all of His creation – worship and praise His name! Make His
    praise glorious!

Isn't it funny how they seem to meter out their "marks" perfectly for the entire walk.
After each mark Fofana does a little scratch dance that kind of reminds me of the Irish dance troupe "River Dance".

I took Riley out for a mile walk today. Today was a beautiful sunny 70° day. He marked his block very well today. Don't forget the little blue or green plastic bag for solids. He's a 21 pound scardy cat. But when home, looking through the living room window, he thinks he's a real bad ass.
    If a 41 won't stop it, I wouldn't bet my life on a 44.

Great story, Thomas. As soon as the snow melts, maybe another 30 days, I'll get out and about with my walkabout 12 Ga.

Worked 0400-Noon then when I got home we put out the corn, broccoli, tomatoes and other plants started in the hydroponic to harden before planting, turned over the boxes and added some manure, planted some peas and I got the walk behind mower out and did a little of the lawn just to get it started. Scrubbed the deck for staining tomorrow.

I'd much rather have got my Single Six out and taken the doggies for a walk. I think you got the better half of the deal.

Walking is the best exercise. Just get up and get moving and you feel better
