    Goodell Shotshell Wads

I was wondering if anyone uses their GSC-12 wads ?
The wad is designed to be inserted into the back of a slug

I was given 10 rounds of reloaded 12 gau slug loads with slugs bought from Goodell Shotshell
That have the GSC-12 wad in the back of the slug

    These slugs shot great

I was also interested if anyone knows of a mold to cast a slug designed for this wad ?

    Thanks
    John

They’re mainly designed as an alternative to the Russian Azot wads I’ve got quite a few of them including the glow in that dark wads. I wish the obturator of the wad was made to fit BPGS GAS SEALS to raise the slug column higher. It’s very deep making for short slugs that don’t feed just my savage 212.

I got an email from Ryan, and he said that they were doing a commercial loading for a big company, and it will be a while before they have any wads or slugs for sale to the general public.

I have a 40" Paradox barrel I want to try a couple of their slugs in, and see how well they shoot.

Has anyone used their slugs before, and how well did they shoot??

Right before Christmas he had a huge discount price for whatever was left from the 2023 production and I bought lots of them. They are designed to be used in conjunction with the russian slugs that use Azot wad as was mentioned before.

Oh no. Gualandi is someone name. In fact the name belong to a famous noble Italian family. Now I have no idea why AS molds decided or who in Russia decided to associate Gualandi to nitrogen. Maybe one day we'll have a Russian passionate about casting bullets and he'll tell us more about Gualandi and nitrogen. Personally I think they call Azot not the wad but rather their version of Gualandi slug which they call it "Italian". Now how the nitrogen got into the mix I have no idea.
Also is not the Russians who came up with that wad people call Azot. Is Gualandi who created that wad. And then russians started making molds that would use that unique wad.

Azot is the other name for nitrogen. Same like sodium is also called natrium.
