    Recommend me another mold

You guys did great recommending me a mold for the 30-30.
    Now I need a .44 mold
Prefer a 240 SWC, probably Keith style.
    NOE, Accurate or ?
I was kinda thinking Accurate because of the options.
If Accurate, I need specifics please.
    Thank you.

Accurate 43-240F is my design for a general purpose bullet which feeds smoothly in lever actions and also has a large meplat for good game performance. I load 6 grains of Bullseye or TiteGroup in pre-1940 .44-40 revolvers and 1873 Winchester or 20 grains of IMR4227 in the Winchester 92 .44-40 and as a "medium velocity" load for the .44 Magnum, 20,000 psi measured, 1000 fps revolver. 1300 fps rifle. Complete pass-throughs on deer, hogs, feral cattle.

MP has one that's solid, penta or round hollowpoint. Runs great in my wheel guns and levers.

The venerable Lyman 429421 for plain based boolits or the 429244 if you like or need a gas check design. Also as a member pointed out above, the RCBS 44-250K. All have functioned well in my SBH, RH, and SRH's

Either 434 281 or 434 234, No need for a gas check, IMO, unless you're pushing them hard from a rifle.

+1 on Outpost75's recommendation. I'd put in a request to Tom to leave off the bevel base (or just get the 240E), and tumble lube grooves are my personal preference, but you aren't going to get better "all purpose" than that.

That bullet has a slightly larger meplat than the classic Keith 429421, and a nose profile far more likely to be lever-action friendly than any SWC.

There are folks here far more knowledgeable than I on this aspect, but the one thing you'll want to proceed carefully on with .44 bullet selection is nose length. A lot of our custom bullet designs were optimized to fill the cylinder of a Redhawk, Blackhawk, or Smith 29, and they result in a cartridge longer than the book max C.O.A.L. for .44Mag. Some of these may work in the leverguns, others, not so much.

ive got at least half dozen 44 molds and the ones that get used most often at both MP 432640 and Miha's hollow point clone of the H&G 503, the traditional Keith design, from an old group buy.

Well, since no one has what I really want, which is a traditional 240 to 250 SWC that drops .432
I'm going to take the specs from an NOE mold and tweak it a little and submit that to Accurate molds.

I will second the RCBS 44-250-K. I am using it in a SBH with excellent results. I PC them and size to .431. My gun has throats in the .4317-.4319 range. Been loading these over 12 grains of HS6 for 1” groups and less at 25 yards.
