    Interesting for you to mention that; we have seen at least one instance where a factory load didn't have a flash hole (& certainly didn't fire). As handloaders, we have the potential to make more reliable ammo than the manufacturer, with far more QC than their production line.

    I ordered some dowel pins from McMaster/Carr some years ago. Probably paid around $10 for a package of 50. If I recall, the decap pins are not exactly the same diameter or length as comes in the dies, but they work and last a good long time. You can cut them to length if too long. Check your diameter and length against this table: https://www.mcmaster.com/products/do.../dowel-pins-7/
