Having just read the article in GUNS Magazine about SSK bringing back the T/C Contender (renamed the SSK 50), it's exciting! The article says it will accommodate all the old Contender barrels. Nice!

Mine won't, while I like the frame and will likely get another at some point my frame is the pickiest one I have ever seen as far as barrel fit. Out of probably 7 or 8 barrels tried so far only one fit but that one fits like a glove. That is the only fault so far, I'm happy with mine.

How long did it take each of you to get yours and where did you get it???

Hausofarms is where i was on waiting list. About 3 yrs waiting but SSK didnt actually release them for sale till after the middle of 2023. Have not checked mine on all my barrels but the ones i tried they worked. No complaints.

I got mine from Haus of Arms also, it took around 44 months from the time I got my name on the list.

I am entering that age where I may not live that long. Fortunately, I already have half a dozen old frames but always wanted an extra stainless frame to try a particular carbine barrel. BTW - I love those fancy grips TRED1956.
