I have a 9000 and a Dillion. Haven’t loaded a shell on my Dillion in 4-5 years. Can’t get the primer longshot to feed. The tray gets stuck.

My 9000 has never missed a beat.

My Mec 9000GN in 12 gauge was giving me fits.

My other 9000GN in 20 gauge runs really smooth.

    Have you tried calling Dillon?

You can always send it back to Dillon to get it refurbished.

I sent it back for another problem. Their customer service is top notch. I’ll jack around with it soon.

What’s you MEC doing? Had trouble with mine, but it was because I wasn’t familiar with it. Once I understood the manual, it’s been smooth sailing.

My Mec would sometimes not drop the primers correctly into the “shellplate”.

Sometimes a little “cockeyed”…. Sometimes upside down.

The key is catching it before the shellplate rotates.

I did make some adjustments to the Dillon last night, and then cranked out 175 rounds.

The crimps looked a lot better.

But I still had 3 or 4 that hemorrhoid’ed themselves.

But that sounds like an issue with the “spindex” inside the pre-crimp station.
