    Magazine loader for 10 MM

To save everyone the necessity of declaring me a wimp, I will acknowledge it up front.

With that said, I am having a difficult time loading my 10 MM S&W M&P magazines, especially after there are 7-8 rounds in the magazine. I use an HKS magazine loading tool but even with that, it is very difficult to load the last 3-4 of the 15. My 80 years old fingers just don't have the strength they use to have.

These are the toughest magazines I have ever had to load. I'm not sure why S&W feels that the magazine spring needs to be that strong but it sure is. As much as I hate to say it, my grandson's 10 MM (cringe) glock is not anywhere near as difficult to load. Heck, my SIGs, albeit in 9mm, 40 S&W and 357 SIG, practically load themselves compared to the S&Ws.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good magazine loader that they have personal experience with for difficult to load magazines?

I've used the Uplula with a 10mm Glock 20 magazine without any problems.

I use the Uplula to load the mags for my Steyr M-40 and it works great.

Uplula here - for pistol calibers, for rimfire pistol mags, for 10/22, AR and AK. Yeah I love their products

Another recommendation for Uplula. I have one and a spare. Works great for any double stack or 1911. Gives more grip area to grab it than most. Just plain works.

But…..is there anything wrong with simply loading only the 7-8 rounds? 7 rounds of 10mm can accomplish a lot!

Another thing you might try is leave your magazines loaded for a while and see if the springs weaken enough to suit you.

And lastly, use a .357 revolver instead. Much easier to deal with and very similar power.

And another for the Uplula. I use it for my 10's and basically everything else. Not everyone can use a revolver (fingers in my right hand due to nerve damage) as they "rotate" on me after the first shot. I have to change grips.

thanks to Uplula only I could completely fill the magazines of the HK 45.
otherwise I would have had to use a vise or a hydraulic press_

I have 4 of the Uplula Loaders, one each in my 9mm, 380, 45 and 32 bags. I had to modify the metal tongue on the tan one for the 32's to make it narrow enough to fit between the magazine feed lips, but it was worth it.
