    Anyone shooting Accurate 2015

I just got a pound of Accurate 2015 for load development in my .32 Miller Short. This case is made from 357 maximum Starline brass sized in a .223 small base die and trimmed to 1.273 inches. It is used with cast bullets in bench rest CBA matches. So far it looks promising. I have read that it can be used in a variety of cartridges including 40-50 Sharps Straight, 45-70 and PPC rounds.

It should work well in the 32 Miller. It's very similar to IMR4198. I have used it to good effect in the 7mm TC-U.

It did very well in my 6.8 SPC and 30-30 rifles with cast bullets. I’ll use it again if I find it at a good price.
At the LGS it’s priced higher than IMR powders and lower than VV.

Used 2015 in BR capacity cases, 7mm, 6.5mm and 6mm and similar capacity cases, like the 357 Super Mag cats 270, 7mm etc and the TCU line of cartridges.

I use it in the 45-70 - 58gr A2015, 300 grain, Fed 215M - brutal recoil but excellent on elk. Also used in 35 Rem, 32 Special and 223 mild to full loads, my favorite for the 358 Win with 200 grain bullets. A tick slower than 4198, kind of splits the difference between 4198 and 3031 to me. Measures very well, burns clean, lights easily in most loads. That 45-70 load is compressed and used frequently at below 15*F so that is why the magnum primer. Started using when Accurate first started selling powder, it was much cheaper than other powders back then -70's(?),80's(?).

I haven't had a use for this powder in years; I hope it's ok to post here, but for any users of this powder, I have a third of a pound & can give it to someone in western OR FTF. PM's only to not hijack the thread, thx. Best regards,

In the past, burned a lot of AA2015 with jacketed in 7BRs and 7TCUs. Because I had some left over from my IHMSA days, tried it for BP-level loads in 45-70s...no significant improvement over IMR4198 and not quite up to SW' 'Buffalo Rifle'. Currently, though, I'm using it in .308 WCF with a PC'd RCBS 30-165SIL @ 1949 fps.

I have shot around 15lbs of Data 68, an old surplus powder that is the same as 2015BR, great stuff! Use it in 25/20, 357 rifle loads, .223, 25/45 Sharps, 7.62x39, 35 remington, and mid range loads in the 348 winchester & 35 Whelen. A very versatile powder and I will be sad when my last 8lb jug is empty

Should work great! I use it exclusively in my 270 Max which is a 357 Max case necked down.

It was the powder for the 356 Winchester I owned. It has uses from 222 through any of the 308 or x57 cases.
