I just shot up some ammo I had in the bag. Not too technical.
I did come up with a way to coat the bore with Mica. I have a bunch of plastic "Pipettes" which I can suck up the mica and stick the end in thru the Ejection Port and shoot the mica down the bore every few shots. That should alleviate and plastic transfer to the rifling. Which did happen last trip to the range.
The Lee Slug in a Claybuster Blue Slug Wad measures .727 so it is a small amount under bore size but still should pick up the rifling. One wrap with paper would bring it up to size and maybe I'll do that when I load some more.
One thing I did notice is that the gun kicked like a mule. The barrel is all stock except being cut down to 18.5" so the Forcing Cone is only about 1/2" long. I need to Extend the Forcing Cone and may Port it as well which will alleviate some of the "Perceived Recoil ".
I'm just getting back into shooting as my range has been closed for the last year so plenty of things to try.?
