Praise Report

We are expecting another child, this time a girl. We'd went to the doctor a few weeks ago on a Wednesday, and they said that the baby was undersized at the 7th percentile and had a growth restriction. She was sure of all this and referred us to a specialist in Louisville.

That Sunday, we went to church, but when we arrived, it had been canceled and we were not informed. We stopped at another church up the road, that sorta knows out church. I asked prayer for us, and they anointed us with oil and anointed a prayer blanket and gave to us after praying for a miracle outcome for the baby.

When we went to the specialist in Louisville on the following Tuesday, they found that the baby was at the 37th percentile and did not have a growth restriction. The baby is perfectly normal and healthy, and they saw no reason for us to come back. The baby grew 6 ounces in 7 days.

I just wanted to tell everyone one of the great things God has done for me!

Physicians and early testing are human/human products and error prone.

Our physician 16 years ago recommended that we abort our daughter (somewhere around 12 -14 weeks) because '...she has brain tumors...'.
Nope, ain't doing it.
Born normal. 1st year high school, something 3.8 - 3.9 GPA, and a bright bubbly person w/ great outlook on life.

Interventionist recommendations from people with no equity in the human person, and a career to be had 'doing something'.
Go figure.

So glad your daughter is doing well. Cherish her.

Thank you all for the kind words and for praising God with us. I've had other things happen that could have only been the hand of God, but for this, it happened in a way that I'm able to tell others about it and I've been doing exactly that.
