    Cci 209m

Getting low on CCI 209 M primers, This load data is from Hodgdon 1st printing manual.
    9-#00 buckshot
    Rem STS hull
    HS-6. 30.5 grs
    CCI 209 M
    WAA12F114
Next load they show is one using Win AA hulls,WAA12f114
    HS-6 @ 30.0 grs with a Win 209
Hard to believe the hulls are that much different. Chances of finding CCI 209 M in stock?

    Yes
Just switching primers can make a world of different
I load some 2 3/4" 1 oz loads of steel shot at 1600 FPS
Change primers can either not get the powder to burn right = 1000 FPS or less
Or change to a different primer and pressures jump to 17,000 PSI

For some of the buckshot loads I am loading
    I use the listed wad
As just changing wads can also make huge changes in pressure
But use the weight of the buckshot instead of the weight of shot

Dang it, my .330 cast buckshot will not fit in the waa12f114 stacked by 3 for 9 pellet #00 buck load.Oh well guess I'll be able to load 1 1/4 oz shot. Can't seem to win at this shotgun loading business.Always one component missing in the formula! Not all is lost. Just loaded AA hulls with 9 pellet's and the hull had almost no dimples showing. That is after I rolled the buckshot between to sheets of steel,to remove sprue
