Is there a company who makes a dedicated Gas Check Crimper?

I only need this item—not a whole resizing setup.

    Axle,
    Welcome to the forum.
I can't help you, as I've never heard of such a thing.

You basically need a caliber sized piston with an adjustable pin for setting the depth and for ejection, which a machinist can make, but lubrisizers are intentionally made for that purpose.

And Lyman made (or makes) what is basically a stop so you only seat the gas check rather than the whole boolit. They used to call it a gas check seater.

I use a Lee factory crimp die for 223 to crimp 25-20 gas checks, you just need to find a neck size which corresponds to your projectile diameter and some form of riser, I use a cut off steel case with a rod inside to fill the neck

Or you could use a Lee push through sizer that's the same size (or slightly larger) than your bullet as cast. There's lots of posts on this site about enlarging these push through sizers with a piece of wood dowel and some sandpaper. This would be way cheaper & easier than machining up a dedicated tool for this specific function.

As an FYI; NOE makes some gas check setting and crimping tools. Maybe you can find what your looking for on their website.

NOE gas check seating die, doesn't crimp or size works great, if not a flat nose you will need the correct nose die. Have one and like it.

I use this same technique for my 375Win. A fired 308 in a 308 shell holder with the 375 collet crimp die installed, allows me to set a 375 bullet -with a gas check in place- on top of the 308 case and crimp the gas check onto the 375 bullet by squeezing it with the crimp die’s collet.

I know right!! It’s not my idea, I originally saw it from wiederladerTv on YouTube, I was actually really ticked that I didn’t think of it.
I did have to part off the top of my LFCD to be able to fumble the little 85 trainers in there but at least you can use the threads to adjust the final crimp size perfectly

Or you could just buy a Lee sizer die for 20 bucks and run what ever caliber boolit through it and install a gas check at the same time.
