Just curious if anyone knows if this is a newer mold or has always been in the LEE listing? Only reason I ask is I did not find any referenced threads doing a search. I just placed an order for a 6 cavity. Just wanted a round nose to try in my various firearms; Rossi 92, M77/357, 357BH, & M-15 S&W.

The Lee 358-150-1R has been around as long as I can remember... it isn't a "new" mould but I'm not sure of it's introduction date in the Lee line up .
I don't care for round nose moulds but if I got one it would be the heavier
Lee 358-158-RF ... I do like the idea of a RF (Round - Flat) in a lever gun ... that flat point on the primer ahead in the magazine tube ... Are Comforting

I bought the 358 -158 rf recently for my 9mm. The 6 cavity drops at the 358, and I've been sizing down the PC boolits to 357 for the various 9mm. Should work fine in a 357....

I have one and it shot well in my 357 max carbine. It drops significantly heavier than advertised from my mold. Since I prefer a flat point, I do not shoot it much at all.

I've been using it for over 20 years in my ICORE loads. It seats really deep for the weight and with the crimp groove the overall package reloads smooth and quick. You can see a few in the bottom right.

I use a lot of those in 357 Magnum. For my Ruger Single action I cast them at about 8 or 9 BHN and then seat them with a flat seating die-- that gives me a small flat spot on the nose and a real 'cowboy' look
