    this cold is no joke
when this storm started being forecast they said maybe 1 to 2 inches of snow and down to 3 or 4 degrees
turned out to be 7 to 8 inches after 24 hours of non stop snow and -3 this morning
needless to say the fire in the stove is roaring

12 degrees and snow got to love all this water for this summer just hope there is very little flooding when it melts. News says we have gotten 23 inches since it started in January and we are looking at 5-8 inches more

I carry a cooler to keep fresh veggies from freezing. Stick something warm and dense in first then veg on top so it is around 45ish in the cooler...

No snow here in the flatlands but lots of breeze to keep things cooled off...94 consecutive hours of sub-zero wind chill between Sunday night and around noon yesterday!!

I haven't looked at the thermometer today, but I did see three brass monkeys heading south as fast as they could run.

My avatar is almost a dead ringer for my little buddy Chico. Six pounds of mean that thought he was a Pit Bull. Miss that little guy.
