I truly believe we need to get back to basics.

5 degrees here this morning at 1700’ in Central NYS and about 3” of snow. But the 40’s are supposed to be back next week.
14 here in SW Texas, about 45 minutes north of the Mexican border.
NW Arkansas is frigid this morning. -4F, Burning wood at a high rate at the moment.

It was 9 this morning when I left for work. Not much higher later in the morning. It is supposed to be in the 40's Monday. We got between 4 and 6
Inches of snow in the Memphis area.
the tempature this morning was Zero degrees and by the end of the week they say we will be in the 40's and rain snow mix. We have to remember global warming is the reason for all this warm weather we see across most of the country.
Beware of a government that fears its citizens having the means to protect themselves.

In my area of Kentucky, it's a balmy 12 degrees. Going to get down to 8 degrees tonight. I'm hanging out in my basement shop with woodstove and huge pile of carbon based global warming next to it.

Was 38 in Green Valley this morning, we have had two mornings below zero centigrade that killed off all the uncovered bouganvillas. They were all in flower, too. Some folks covered and it didn't help because it was just too cold. Oh well, winters over, time to get some seeds planted. Around here, June will kill a garden too.
9º yesterday morning. 7º at 7:00 this morning. Central Arkansas area. Like where Country Gent is at, its forecast to warm up next week. We'll see............!!!

11 right now. Was 9 a few hours ago. Furnace has been straining so fireplace going, electric heaters, and blocking off an addiction (prior owners did (didn't do it right with insulation and ducts). Supposed to be even colder Saturday and Sunday. Fun.
A couple days later, a few degrees colder. Just west of the Finger Lakes in NY it is single digits this morning. A little farther West or North my neighbors are dealing with lake effect. Due to the warm December, the Great Lakes have not frozen, shifting the lake effect snow belt farther inland.

SE Ohio zero overnight. Yesterday I came home with a load of groceries. Normally you'd rush the frozen stuff inside so it wouldn't thaw. This time I rushed the milk and orange juice inside so it wouldn't freeze.
