It was 14 degrees this morning on our front porch. It went above freezing for the first time in almost a week. It was 9 on Friday and the salt water in our fjord (Hood Canal) was freezing around the edges.

I feel for you guys. That’s too cold. My home is 71 but outside its in the 50s. By the end of the week it will be in the teens. I would say stay frosty but you’re beyond frosty.

Had -15 on the vehicle on the way to work this morning, -20 through some the low spots on the drive. Never got above 0 and we were back down to -3 at 430 on the way home. I don't know what the wind chill was this morning but the dogs lasted about 37 seconds outside before they started high stepping. All the eggs were cracked and frozen before I was able to get to them. Northwest Wisconsin, about 45 minutes south of Lake Superior.

Weird part is we have almost no snow. Halfway through January and I haven't moved the plow truck and have only gotten out 1 shovel. This is not looking like a good year to be a snowmobiling family.
