    10 grains of AP70 with a tuft of Dacron to hold the powder against the primer will give you around 1500 fps depending on boolit profile. I like bore riders and boolits sized .314. I use up to 13 grains of AP 70 with good results but thats getting up there.

    Apologies for the tardy reply.

    We were at a shoot and my wife was talking to an older gent whilst getting coffee and she mentioned how hard powder was to come by.

    Long story short, he had two unopened jugs of Trail Boss and one opened with about 20 reloads out of it. He said it wasn't a powder he liked, so a few hours later we followed him home, paid (he only wanted what he paid which was the sticker price on the jugs, yes I told him how much he could get for them, he asked me if I was going to use them or sell them) and were two happy campers on the trip home!
