    These items were given to me. Friend said they were lead figurines from Germany. Hit 2 of them with a butane flame; the result is next to each item. Does anyone know if they're pure lead, alloyed, tin, etc?

    A lot of that stuff is bringing BIG money nowadays!! You might want to do a little research before melting or damaging it!!

    Will do. The larger dog already has a split open head. The two small handle-like things appear to have been ripped from something. The two small dogs are the only items intact, so they'll go on the book shelf.

    You probably should check for proof marks on the bottom of the belly or feet. Look at the sticky on Pewter? That might give you much better results than what the photos could show.
