Nice group. Plain bore or rifled? Looks stable, no yawing.

That’s exactly what I have loaded before. Accurate out to at least 100 yards. I run them through a 11-87 with a rifled choke as well. Nicely done.

i have gotten similar results from the "Monkeyberg" with the Rifled Choke Tube,

First Pic; Lyman Slugs 3 thru same hole, 2nd Pic Lee Slugs 4 thru same hole, and then a Windage Correction for the fifth shot on the Centerline of the Target.

I will be sighting in and patterning the "Auto Berg" next week and see what the Fully Rifled barrel does and how the Birdshot and Buckshot patterns look. Hoping they don't get spread out too much?.

Well, I gotta say excellent work then! I wouldn't be too surprised at those results from a fully rifled barrel, though still excellent, but from a rifled choke tube even more so!

I have to get my butt in gear and get the rifled choke tube adapter silver soldered onto one of my smoothbores!

All my shotguns are either cylinder bore or fixed choke.

You have given me hope and inspiration! And maybe some motivation!!

It's been a long time since I've shot any Lymans, but I've had better luck with a rifled tube, than a fully rifled barrel. The rifled tube doesn't rip off the petals from the shot cup. I think I was running 45 grains of blue dot. Your load sounds a lot easier on the shoulder.
