My resolution is to spend even more time fishing and boating on the Chesapeake Bay.

Mine is to trap as many fawn eating coyote's as I can. And in the spring take the woman fishing, she loves it.

Might get into night shooting coyotes.

Exactly what I want to do!
A little fishing won't hurt either.

My New Year's resolution is to....make no more New Year's resolutions. This may be the only one I am able to keep. NOt being able to keep the others is the reason I will make no more....so it's kind of the over arching resolution....

I’ve been researching crossbows. Wanting to extend my deer season.

    More coyote hunting.

    More WMA scouting (and hunting).

Overall just spend more time hunting.

I would like to fish and camp a little too.

I'm going to thin my short and long gun herd and try to concentrate on loading and shooting a few of them well. I'm 77 and have no one to leave any of it to, so I need to figure out what I'm actually going to use and then follow through. I recently joined a private rifle and pistol range where I used to shoot 15 years ago and it has targets to 200 yards. I hope to shoot weekly, weather permitting. GF

I had to face this a short time ago. No one to leave my stuff to.

You will not regret getting rid of guns you do not shoot. I found I was shooting a handful of guns and I will keep them till I go home. I kept some guns I rarely shoot for SHTF in case I need to deal with two legged varmints.

Hoping it brings cold weather and rain. We have had no run off since june and Ducks have not migrated to Texas yet. Season is 2/3 over.

Mine changed drastically couple days ago when I had a heart attack. Now its learning to eat better, increase my walking trips between targets and bench, maybe even longer trips. I'm fine, 1 stent in the heart. Scary day tho.

I have been slowly passing some of my guns down to my kids to enjoy. I kept my favorites. As for the new years question, I plan on getting to the range a lot more and ringing a lot more steel targets. Lever guns and single action revolvers have become my go to fun guns. Happy New Years and God bless! This is a great bunch of guys.

More range time , cast some with a new mold that was under the tree for the Big Bore 94 . Its a NOE 379-235 with a nice wide meplat . That 375 does OK with the Lee but I think it will do better with a GC design . I've been Blessed in 2023 and I believe for the same in 24' .

I aim to keep increasing my contact with my Lord and Savior, and listen to what he tells me. Aside from that, I'm gonna take it as it comes until it quits coming. jd
It seems that people who do almost nothing, often complain loudly when it's time to do it.
