    3-D Printing

    This is a powder dispenser my son printed up for me. The bottom half has a compartment filled with bb's so I can turn the knob without moving the dispenser. As you can see the tube is slightly angled and has an internal auger to move the powder downward. It is slick as a whistle to use. But I did lightly sand the two port holes so it would rotate smoothly. It took 1 hour make, used 48 grams of filament and material cost was $1.15

    That's slick - I'd also love to have the stl file.

    Nice job.

    Maybe someone can start a thread of the different things you can make that are useful for hand loaders?

    Thank you - either the stl file or perhaps a link to where he found it on line? OR - perhaps he drew up the parts himself in 3D CAD?

    You know, we’ve got a whole section of the forum for the 3-D printing crowd. Those guys would love to see this thread. Why don’t you try here;

    As a bonus, your son can meet some kindred spirits that speak his language and maybe print some more toys for you!

    Let's see if I can post the link Moiecol gave with the IM.

    Looks like it might have allowed the link. Thank you for the link.
