I posted a short while back about the same rifle in 6.5CM, and I bought the same rifle in 30/06. I put the same scope on it, Vortex Viper 6.5x20x44mm, BDC reticle. I tried some new powders, RL 19, and VV, they shot the same as the blue box Federal 150 gr, 3/4" or so. A tried and true load with a flat base Hornady 150gr Spire point, with a load of IMR 4350 behind it, that I worked up over 30 plus years ago. Two 3 shot groups averaged .460, and I am good to go with that, rifle will be used for hunting and informal long range plinking, out to 600 yds. Just thought I would share this.
