Deleting files from File Upload Manager

I have a bunch of pics that I uploaded over the years to sell stuff. I don't see any way to delete the pic files. Am I missing something to delete these?

Go yo your user control panel by clicking on your login.
Click on your name, then 'user CP'

There's a list of things you can do or change.
Down on the lower left, look for 'attachments'.
Start clicking the little white box on the far right side for the ones you want to delete.

    Then click 'delete selected'.

You can clean out your PM inbox and sent folders pretty much the same way.

Far as I know, you can delete them, but they don't go anywhere.

Yup. I'm correct, as far as I can tell.

Winger Ed's directions will delete them from the tread in question, but not from the upload manager.
Last time I had to think about his, the general consensus was they became part of Cast Boolits forever.
