    Paper patch how many wraps

I may need to paper patch for a 280 Ross, since I can't find a bullet the right size.
If I patch a 6.5 bullet I need 3 wraps to get to .289 is that to many?
    Thanks
    Nick

2 wraps would be 4 layers of .002 paper or .008. so Ideally a .281 dia bullet. A 7 mm could be reworked to this this would remove the grease grooves and open to correct dia by reaming or boring. A lee mould might be just the answer here.

If you go with a bore rider then the 7 mm might work as is.

PM me and we can talk this thru more

Where at are you located ? What length weight bullet do you need?
